Yummylicious Strawberries

When i first stepped here in America, one thing i requested to my hubby was to buy me the yummylicious fruits here. I have tasted some of them back in my country but there are also some fruits here that i haven't had in my whole life. Like for example, the peach, the apricot, the fresh cherries and many more. Strawberries, yes i had some of it there in Philippines, but not as fresh like it is here for you can actually pick the fruits in the farm. Although there are also fresh strawberries there but the farm was far away from our place, it's up north while we live in south.

Anyway, since that i love to indulge fruits, i thought it would be nice to take some snaps of it before i eat it lol! My son told me i am silly for i always take picture of whatever i see even the fruits haha. I love photography! Who can blame me? So, here's the shots i took the other day.

Dandelion Seeds Series

There's nothing else the photographers want but to hear people praises their hard work. I did not know all about it until i began to get hooked on this hobby. It sure feels good when people praises and appreciate your work. Lately, i am becoming obsessed in macro shooting which is so obvious that the recent photos i posted here are more on macro shots. Of course, i would like to thank to those people that helped me and taught me to shoot better quality pictures. Especially the macro images. Someone taught me how to shoot and told me what to buy for the accessories of the macro lens so i can take amazingly sharp images just like his. And i owe this to him.

Anyway, ever before i had my camera, i have been so fascinated to view dandelion pictures, closer or not even too close. And now that i have my own camera to capture the beauty of it (although it really is not good for the lawn because it is weeds), i can't really stop myself to take snaps of it. So, here is the series i got of the beautiful dandelion seeds...

These photos are arranged from newest to oldest as i learn how to shoot the beauty of it better. And the very first photo, i just took it this afternoon at the park, with water drops inside it :) Hope you'll like them, enjoy!

Hard To Get Damselfly!

Finally i was able to take some shots of this hard to get damselfy. It has been awhile since i was trying to capture a good angle shot of this tiny creature that just can't keep still. It should know that i am going to take pictures of it so it can pose lol! Anyway, i had the chance but unfortunately i only captured his one eye which i think it is good enough better than nothing at all. Chasing insects sure is one tough job to do, it's a challenge yes but it's worth the hard work soon as you get the perfect angle and a sharp shot of this creature...

Obsessed In Macro

Doesn't it so obvious yet? My recent posts here are more on macro shots which i am just getting obsessed everyday. Especially now that i have all the accessories that i need for me to shoot the tiniest things in the world. I will try to apply the tips that a good friend suggested to me. I really am excited everyday on photo shooting small things that crawls on the ground or even those insects that flies.

Right now, i am more concentrating in taking good shots of the stigmas of the different kinds of beautiful flowers that i can find. So here are some good shots i got that i am proud to share to all of you guys. Hope you all like them :)

By the way, most of my images are not photoshop processed, they are SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera) only watermarks is being added to it since i am not really good in photo editing.

Macro Is My Obsession

Our weather here in Utah is been like a roller coaster. The sun shines for a couple of days and all of the sudden the next day will be rainy days. Just like today. I woke up early this morning because i had an appointment i went to. Then later after i took the kids to Arby's since it has been awhile since i last took them out.

Anyway, i had fun walk the other with my kids too, it was not so hot yet it wasn't that chilly either. It was a perfect weather to go out and enjoy more outside. The kids had so much fun running around while i stopped here and there to take some snaps of beautiful flowers using my macro lens along the sidewalks. So here are some good snaps that i got. Hope you'll like them!

Macro The Flowers

Although it rained today, i am still thankful that our weather is starting to get warm. I guess cold days must all over already (i hope!). I am now looking forward to take more pictures outside using my macro lens, lens baby or maybe my fish eye lens that i haven't used much yet since hubby bought them for me.

Well, the other day i was able to get some good shots of flowers although it was so windy that made me disappointed because i can't get good shots as many as i'd like to due to the wind blew all the subjects i was aiming to. But, still i got few and i am happy with the results. So here they are! The last picture are anthers of the flower of the pine trees right beside our house. I used my newly bought raynox magnifier attached to my macro lens. Pretty cool because i get to shoot tiny things with more clarity and details when i use the raynox lens. As you all know, anthers, you can hardly see that just by your eyes, and look how big they are in this picture below.
