First Day Of School

Seven o'clock morning sharp, i was already up and so as my first grader son. Got him ready, gave him a bath, cut his nails and combed his hair. And when he was ready to go i took few shots of him in front of our house holding the paper with something written on it. As you can see the picture below. I still can't believe i have first grader now, where did the time go? He's growing so fast alright and i hate to think about it because he will be leaving me whole day every weekdays! Goodness! When i took him to the bus stop, he told me no kissing because he doesn't want other kids to see it and be teased, which i understand. I can't help but to cry soon when the school bus left to school. Hubby noticed me and hugged me telling me everything will be alright, he would be crying if our son will start to ask us to borrow the car key. Waaahhh!!! I don't even want to think about it yet! Not today!

Here are some few shots i got of him by the way. From the house to his school bus. He's officially first grader now, and i had a bitter-sweet feeling when i waved goodbye to him. My baby is now a big boy, and i sure can't stop him from growing.

County Fair In Tremonton

It was a blast for my two boys at the county fair in Tremonton yesterday. They really enjoyed all the rides they can go, although the little one has limited tickets since we didn't buy him the unlimited wrist band for all the rides just like his big brother. I got scared though because the big brother got lost in my sight, it was i think almost an hour before we finally found him through the help of the sheriffs out there patrolling. Thanks to them! Anyway, there will be another celebration going on here in our town in about two weeks from now and i am sure that my boys are going to enjoy that day again just like they did yesterday.

Here are some few shots i got yesterday of my two boys being in the rides they took yesterday. It was fun for me as well because kept on snapping my camera while they were having so fun with all the rides. When my son was in the kiddie roller coaster, he met that boy he was sitting with and became his friends. He then was with that boy whatever rides they feel like to take. Glad to see my son is making new friends :)

Big Brother Stole The Spotlight

This photo series was taken yesterday. The little one wanted to be taken pictured of by himself but the big brother skewed over beside his little brother. So the little one got upset, cried and whined so to get rid of his brother. It was just so cute when i was about to snap my camera, and i got some cute stolen shots of them.

I can't help but to smile everytime i view these photos because i know there was a story behind it. Someday, they will be laughing at these photos too and will remember how silly they are during their childhood days :) The first two pictures was taken before his big brother skewed over beside him and shared the "Supposed to be his moment" LOL!

Lightroom Processed Images

Ever since i got the lightroom and knows how to use it somehow, i began to get addicted to it. I like when my raw pictures turns into colorful or maybe a black and white images. Lightroom sure does adds life to the photographs. Now i learned that's why most photographers use softwares to enhance their photographs so to give more life to it and add more colors.

Here are some of my old photos that i processed in lightroom 3. I really love the free presets i got from different generous websites that gives their free presets. So far, i haven't bought presets yet, i am beginning to get tempted but i am holding off myself because i don't want to start on keep buying it. And besides, i am just an amateur to this, so i might as well have to enjoy the free ones for now. As they always say, practices makes perfect. Hope you like these shots i got here below :)

Before And After Processed

I am so thankful that there are still good friends that are willing to help. I've got few of them even though i haven't met them yet personally. They gave me some tips on how to use the lightroom and the Photoshop so i can edit pictures. I tell you, i really am slow when it comes to photo processing, i've got no talent to that. But then, i should learn because i want to try the portrait photography which i am already trying it with my friends with me going to some place where it's perfect to take some snaps.

These photos below are lightroom processed, used some presets that i think it matches to the photos i chose. I know i still have a lot of things to learn in processing but i am taking my time so i will learn everyday and will study more the techniques on how to beautify the portrait pictures.

Baby Contest For Peach Day

Good thing i opened the journal we got from the mail today because i read that there is a baby contest going on in our town. It's actually been going on for awhile now, and i just didn't see it at the journal we received for the last couple of weeks since i usually don't pay attention what's inside in it. Anyway, i am so happy that i saw the ads and they are looking for cute babies that aged three and under. The winner will be featured to the journal and also for the coming up Peach Day Celebration this September here in our town which people are looking forward to it every year.

So i thought it would be a good idea if i submit a photo of my little potato. But then i got few shots of him that i cannot actually decide myself which one is the best. Here's four that i chose the best, but i can only submit one. So which one do you think is the best of these photos? The deadline is tomorrow and i am just thankful i saw this ads because i still have the chance to submit the photo of my little one :)
