Cotton Like Buds

This photo below was taken last weekend. This is the last SOOC Sunday i participated due to the trip we just had. I am so glad that our trip was safe and smooth. I really am so thankful to GOD for taking care of us all the time. Anyway, i would like to share with you my entry last weekend. Here's the cotton like buds i took just in our backyard. The theme was all about softness, so i thought of taking a photo of this white buds because it does look like cotton buds, isn't it?

Beautiful Orange Flower

This flower is one of my favorites. I haven't seen this kind of flower not until i came here in America. I know there are lots of different things here in America that i cannot find it in my country just like this flower. I really love this flower, so beautiful and unique. Now that i have my DSLR, i can take shots and freezes them with my photographs. I have lots of beautiful pictures already but i still can't seem get tired taking shots of them, they are just too beautiful not to be noticed. I know i will find flowers that are rare and i would like to take photos of them if i see them...

My Sweet Young Man

I felt so bad when i took my son to school yesterday because his allergy attacked him big time! I was not going to take him there but he insisted because he's probably thinking he will miss the fun at the pool. Yeah, it was their fun pool activities yesterday that's why my son was so anxious to go to school. Their school building is quite big, they have their own gym and pool outside by the side of the building. So i still took my son there even though his face was all swollen and his eyes were watery plus the runny nose and keep on sneezing. The teachers were so worried because it might make him worse if he swim, he might be allergic to chlorine. So i told his teachers not to worry about it because he's been to pool before but he didn't have reactions. He must have ate something that made him really sick that morning before we left the house. So i left him in his school and ran at the pharmacy which is just right across the street of his school and bought allergy medicine for him. I went back to school and gave him the medicine. He was the last one went to the pool area because i wanted him to feel a little better before he swims. So a little bit after i gave him a teaspoon of the allergy medicine, he got better, not totally well but at least he is fine.

But anyway, we came home and bought him his favorite sandwich. After he ate, he asked me if we could go for a walk. I asked him back how is he doing, and he told me he is doing great, no more allergy. So i grabbed my camera and went for a walk with my sweet son. We went around the blocks of neighborhood and ended up to an abandoned house that the yard is full of dandelions. My son sat on the ground and started picking at those dandelions seeds. He wasn't aware that i was pointing my camera to him, ready to shoot whatever he is going to do. I have a couple of shots of him that looks so great and perfect for me. Please enjoy these two shots i am sharing below.

Bleeding Hearts

My son had so much fun with his field trip yesterday. I did too but too bad i wasn't able to capture lots of beautiful flowers out there due to i have to follow the crowd for it was a big garden. Plus the fact that i have to push my little one around with me. But this bleeding hearts as they call it really caught my eyes. It's very interesting for me since it was the first time i saw this kind of flower yesterday. So i didn't really let the chance passed and grab my camera and took this beautiful interesting flower. Isn't it so beautiful? Because for me it is really gorgeous....

Beautiful Purple Flower

This purple flower grows by the side of our driveway. I really don't know exactly what's the name of this flower, it's like bushes and it blooms every springtime and dies during summertime. I fell so inlove with its beauty for the first time i saw this flower but really not taking a picture of it since my small camera doesn't do a fancy kind of shot. Now that i have my DSLR, i was able to take some snaps of it as it just barely starting to grow and it wasn't blooming yet and the other day, i also took some snaps of the blooming ones. Here's the before and after blooming shots i got. Here's BEFORE:

Memorable Mother's Day

It was mother's day yesterday. Me and my family celebrated the mother's day i a very simple way, yet it was very precious moment for us to treasure. We only had a barbecue picnic at our backyard and had a great time with our family bonding. We let our oldest son played with his bat and ball while we pretend we are his audience and cheerer. The little one fell asleep so we took him inside the house and put him down on his bed. Simple celebration yet it was priceless for us. Another addition great memories for us to remember and another story to tell to our kids when they're grown. Anyhow, i would like to grab this chance to greet to all the mothers here in the world although it's a little late but the thoughts is fresh... Happy mother's day and hope you had a great time with your lovely family!!!

Looking For His Princess

I took this image in about two weeks now. There was a young kid by the pond where we went found this very small creature. He was holding it and told us he found this very tiny frog. My son doesn't want to touch it because he was a little scared of it. He never have tried to touch a frog before and that's why he was a little hesitant when i asked him if he wants to touch and hold it. So i just took some snaps of it while the boy was holding this frog. Seems like he was looking for his princess, or is he really? lol!

Two Lips Or Tulips? You Pick!

I always love looking at the tulips growing during springtime. They are just so gorgeous and very inviting to my eyes! Very colorful and delicate. I am so happy that i am able to capture some of them around our neighborhood as we go for a walk with my son. There were lots of them by our neighbors's yards. Too bad we don't have tulips of our own in our yard because our place is kind of shady and these kinds of flowers definitely needs sunshine. But oh well, i can just enjoy looking at those beautiful flowers and take some snaps of it with my camera, freezing the freshness of the beautiful nature that the BOSS created for us to enjoy and appreciate. Here's one photo i captured from our neighbor's yard, it sure looks like two lips. It made me think, that's probably why it's called tulips because it has two lips? lol! Anyway, whatever the reason why, please enjoy the beauty of this gorgeous flower...

Oh! Yummy Fruit Loops!

I must say that camera is part of me already. Whatever i do or no matter how busy i am, i still can find time to click the button of my camera. Getting addicted to it? Yes i must admit. Since i got the good camera so why not take advantage to it, right? Every little things my kids does, i click the camera. There were lots of times that my oldest one complains because i take too much pictures he said. I can't help it! I really am falling in love with my new photography hobby. Well, like yesterday, he asked me to give him a bowl of fruit loops cereal, and thought it would be neat if i take pictures of those sweet circled cereals. Took lots of them and my son asked me to stop clicking so he can eat. Oh! I forgot! It's for him to eat it, not for me to take pictures of it, lol! Silly Mommy i am alright...

Purple Stigma

This is another shot i have that is very close subject. This flower is a very tiny one but i was able to capture the stigma. I really am enjoying my new hobby now, i am falling in love with it everyday and everytime i capture great photos that i can share. I know that some of our neighbor might be wondering seeing me with different position sometimes taking pictures, it's because i wanted to get the good angle of the subject i am taking picture of. I remember the speaker of the class i attended in photography, he said that some people that sees the photographer thinks we are crazy because we are doing different positions and taking picture of the smallest things especially when using a macro lens. But i don't really care, it feels great to me when i capture the subject perfectly, the way that i just wanted to be. So here's the photo i have to share, take a look at the stigma, they were tiny but in this photo they are somewhat big and visible to human's eyes.

A Part Of Me

It's the first Sunday of May! And yes, May is finally here! This is the third week of being a participant to the group of flickr called SOOC Sunday group created by a friend. This group's goal is to show all the members that definitely the photographers can take such amazing and great photos without undergoing some enhancements or editing in a photoshop editor. So, as one of the participants to the said group, here is my entry which is straight out of camera. The subject for this week is "A part of you- Monochrome". So here's mine, my shoulder. I chose my shoulder because it is tough enough to do everything what i must do. Taken this image today May 2, 2010 around ten o'clock in the morning.
