Gorgeous Flowers

Here's another batch of my macro shots. Sorry for my modeling interruption shots, LOL! These photos below are the most gorgeous and amazing beauty of nature. My beauty is far from reality compared to these flowers i took two weeks ago. These are actually SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera) images, since i am not that talented when it comes to editing photographs. Enjoy viewing! And if you want to see them in a better quality, you can view them through my FLICKR account which i have the link on the left side bar of this website. Thanks for visiting here guys and hope to see you coming back here more often!

Portraits Of Yours Truly

It was a perfect day yesterday for easter egg hunting. The kids had so much fun and of course the parents had a blast in the party too that was held at my friend's house. She's the one that has a huge house, so that's why we always have our party in her place instead of somewhere else. I didn't get some good shots of the kids picking up the eggs they found on the grass because they were too excited and moving too fast to get as many as they can, but the most important thing is they enjoyed the day, that's what matters the most.

So since i didn't have any good snaps of my kids during the egg hunting, i might as well share some good photographs of yours truly that a good friend took for me. She is getting better in holding my camera, lol! The very first time she used my camera, my pictures were all blurry, it looks like you need to wear a very thick glasses or maybe use a magnifying lens for you to see the pictures clearly haha! But yesterday, i am so proud of her that she did good. She must have got the techniques i have been teaching her over and over LOL!

So, here are the few that she got for me, pretty cool! I tweaked a little bit each of these photos to make it look more nicer, the temperature and made the pictures warm a little bit. Aside from that, i only put the watermarks and that's all it!

Much More Excited For Spring

As i promised, i am going to post another photographs i took just recently. The weather is getting better and better everyday, although we get storms here and there a little but that's fine because it's just normal that we get rainstorms here where we at on April until May. Anyway, i went to the house where my son went last year for their field trip when he was only in preschool. It is a huge house with a huge flower garden as well. Luckily, it is just couple of blocks away from our house, so since the day was perfect this afternoon, i took my little one for an hour walk while the Daddy and the eldest had fun flying their kite...

The garden owner told me that there isn't much flowers blooming yet for we just barely getting warmer days. And she told me that i can go back to her garden soon as the flowers will start to bloom and i can take pictures as many as i like for free! She is one nice old lady, she said that i can go there whenever i feel like :) I am excited to see her flowers bloom, for they aren't just ordinary wild flowers that is commonly be seen by the sidewalks or maybe with the bushes in the yard :) Well, anyway, here are some shots i got, enjoy viewing! I will try my best to post more photographs here that i got as possible as i can :)

Macro The Beauty Of Spring

It's been so long since i last updated this website, it is because i can't really find things to post here that i think it will interest the people to see. But then since the spring is here, i was able to roam around for two days now and i am glad that i did because i got the chance to take some snaps of the blossoming buds and the just about blooming flowers. Dandelions are already visible in every neighbors's yards and bees are starting to get busy collecting some nectars.

It's really amazing and it also feels so good when you get the chance to take snaps of the most tiny things in the world and you get to share that to people. Ever since i got my camera, i even more appreciate the beauty of nature and understand that everything exists for a reason and has purpose in this world :) Anyway, here are the few of my shots that i would like to share, and there's more to follow later :)

Macro Treats Set Up Shots

Alright, i learned something new in photography. When shooting small things, food or treats on top of the table, i should put something in front of it as reflectors such as bond papers or much better the foil so the light will reflect to the foil or the bond paper and hit back to the subject to eliminate the shadow of the subject. So here are the few shots i got earlier with the set up shots....

Sourpatch! My Favorite Treat!

I hardly eat sweets even when i was still in my beloved country. I am not simply fond of sweet treats it's probably because i am trying to avoid sweets for i know my father died due to acute diabetes. And later on i found out that it isn't just sweets that can cause diabetes, also salty foods. As what my mother used to tell me that everything that is too much is not good anymore. Yes, she is right.

But when i got here in America, i found a sweet and sour treat that i could not resist everytime i go to a grocery store. I always grab one bag of it. It's the sour patch! I just love the mixed sour and sweet taste of it, irresistible for me! When i tasted it first i fell inlove right then to this treats, but i should not eat this too much for we have diabetes history in our family, both sides. But i love it so much! I can't just help myself not to eat the whole bag whenever i have one...

February Snow Storm

Snowy days in February is always heavy. I should say that February is the worst month to get a lot of snow. It is also the worst month of freezing weather. Last night Utah was hit by a snow storm and we all woke up with a white winterland outside. The kids were so happy that i took them outside and let them play for a little bit. Hubby was busy shoveling the snow in our driveway, while my oldest son was also busy wiping the snow off in our two cars using the broom. He did a good job helping daddy, while the little one was scared to walk around for he might fall on the ground, he got stuck in the snow and so afraid to take some few steps. So, after the heavy snow storm, this is how our place looks like now.

Breathtaking Sceneries

How did your valentines go? Our valentines date was just plain and simple, and it is like usual, hubby and i dated with our two boys. We went to the famous pizza house where they cook the pizza by the firewoods and not through the oven. Anyway, these photos below are just some of the photos i took yesterday as we headed to the place where we went. The Canyon was a breathtaking place to see, i used to just adore this place in my eyes and i am glad that i have now a good camera to take a picture of it to share it with you guys... Enjoy the place!

Lazy Time For Me

I have been so lazy lately using my camera. The cold weather makes me feel like it, i can't think of anything that excites me what to shoot. What i did lately was, i just hang out with my friends here in our house and keep on eating. We always get to eat our ever favorite food that we love. I am the cook and they come over and enjoy our lunch. Just like this food below, this was taken i think it's two weeks ago, it's a dried fish sauteed by lots and lots of tomatoes with onions and garlic too, the red meat is like a sweetened marinated pork (tocino in tagalog). After the sumptuous dinner, we enjoy our time chatting on what we're up to lately while munching our desserts.

Angelic Face Of My Son

It has been awhile since i touched and played my camera. The freezing weather makes me feel like i just want to crawl in the bed all the time and keep myself warm with my thick blanket. Last night when my little one cried, i took him in our bed from his crib, and gave him a bottle of milk. And when i was about to lie down too, i saw my camera and decided to play with it for just a little bit shooting my little one's body parts using my macro lens, such as his ears, eyes and his hands. Of course i took some snaps of his angelic face too while he was just falling back to sleep. And i realized when i saw the photos i took, he is such an angel, especially when he is quietly sleeping so deeply.
