Beautiful Shots Of Him

It was frustrating these past few days for me since my oldest son doesn't like to cooperate with me. I want to take some good shots of him but he would refuse to be taken pictures of, that really makes me so desperate to capture at least one good shot of him. It's almost impossible for me to do that since he's always on the run and always alert whenever he sees me holding my camera ready to shoot some angle of him.

But, today, i was so happy when he agreed that we should take some good shots because i really want to print a big picture of him so i can hang it on his wall in his bedroom. From hearing that, he got excited and said yes finally after all that bribing and begging i did. Anyway, here are the few shots i took earlier. We didn't stay outside very long for it was very cold for the kids and they are just barely recovering from cough and colds. I love all the shots i got of my son, he was also happy that our short photo shoot came out good :)

What I Have Been Working

As i learn how to walk the path in PHOTOGRAPHY, i always find pieces along the way as the answers to my questions. I realized that photography is like a drawing book. The art is there but you have to paint colors to bring out the beauty in it. It only depends on the artist on how he/she will show it to the world the piece of art he/she got.

I finally got the paint i have been looking for. I have tried a lot of paint that i thought it would be best for my drawing book, but i failed. It didn't fit to my taste. And now, i am very happy that i finally found it. And i have tried the paint i was talking about to some of my children's photos. And here some few of the samples. Hope you'll like them! ^_^

Different Bokeh Shapes

Have you tried to take photos of the bokehs? I just learned how to shoot a nice bokeh effects and i sure had fun shooting it. I love the outcome of it. Plus the fact that i didn't spend money for it, well, sort of. I just bought a bundle of black paper and that's it. That is what i used to create my own templates for my lens so to get a different kinds of bokeh effects. Just like these pictures below, take a look! Now, you tell me if it doesn't look fun to you? LOL! You should try it!

Framed Photos

I am very happy that i learned something new today. I am not really into editing before but then it became my addiction now. Who would've thought that editing photos will become my passion? Never in my wildest dreams to learn something interesting like this. I used to just post or upload all my photos untouched, as is, meaning SOOC. But now, i really am enjoying the photo processing. I must admit that photo editing adds up life to the photos, and it makes it more beautiful and lively :)

Santa Or Elf? Either Way He's Cute!

The studio lighting that i got has been a joy to me since. I love shooting pictures with my two rugrats with it and although they don't really strike a pose for me, still i get good shots of them. Yesterday during when the big brother is at school, i took some snaps of my little potato since i didn't put the studio lighting away yet. Like usual, the little one didn't pose for me, but i got some beautiful and silly looking shots of him! I was having hard time to have him look at me. But look at these photos i got of him below! He is just so cute to not to be noticed! Of course he is my little one, i love my own, like always :D

Two Little Santa

Really the Christmas is just around the corner. I took some snaps of my two boys yesterday with my studio lighting but i became frustrated for they can't just strike a pose for me and be done with it. They were whining and complaining that it is hard for them to stay still in one place.

Well, anyway, although they were fussy, i was still able to get some good shots. And i am very happy enough with it. Maybe i will try it again one more time some other day. Hubby is absolutely right, it might have been because the kids had a long trip and got tired of sitting all the time that's why they don't want to be sitting again for a little while and wanted to be moving around. Oh well, kids are always on the go anyway. But! I still love the snaps i got from them :) Here they are! :D

Our Christmas Tree At Night

Below is our Christmas tree that we just barely put up yesterday, and because i was so excited to show it to everybody, i took a snap of it right away and posted it on my facebook. Most of my friends liked it, like i do. A very simple Christmas tree, yet it looks elegant.

But, i just remembered to put the ribbons lastnight, and hubby helped me to wrapped it around the tree. This is the most beautiful Christmas tree i put up ever! The last few years, it wasn't that good because i let my first born child decorate it himself. As you can expect, kids love to have it colorful, the colorful the tree is, the beautiful it is in their eyes. But this year, i told him that it's mommy's turn to decide what to put on the tree so it'll look a lot nicer. He's a good kid and just agreed with me without a fuss or whining. So here's the final look of our tree, it's more beautiful at night, don't you think? hehe, love my own, i know :D

Our Beautiful Christmas Tree Is Up!

I finally got our Christmas tree up. It made me so mad lastnight because i already put it up and put the lights with it but unfortunately, the tree stand got broken. It's probably because it is already old, in fact the tree is a lot older than our kids. But the tree is still good, just the stand. I was so frustrated lastnight, could not even think what to do with the tree which is leaning on the couch.

Good thing there was some good friends who suggested what to do. They gave me excellent ideas on how to put up a tree using an alternative tree stand. Luckily, we have an aluminum bucket and i filled it with big rocks and put the tree stand in it. And i am so happy that tree stood still. I told hubby about it to find me some rocks to fill the bucket but he was still snoring when i got up and decided to just do it by myself. So after i put up the tree with the help of my eldest, we then also put the orbs and some other decorations with it. And here's our beautiful Christmas tree now! It's combined with gold and silver color. A very simple Christmas tree, yet very elegant looking as well :D

Studio Photography Lighting Kit

I am very happy today! I finally got my photography studio lighting kit delivered through UPS just a few hours ago. And eventhough i didn't get an instruction paper on how to install everything, still i am happy because i was able to manage it with the help of my dear husband. So i hurriedly tried it soon as my first born came home from school. He got so excited too when he saw my mini studio set. So i let him sat in front of the backdrop and took a few shots.

So, here are the samples i took earlier. I am very contented and satisfied with the lighting kit i got. It's good for amateur studio photographer like me. The price, nothing beats it, the items aren't that great but they are good. I love my photography lighting kit! And hoping that i will be getting some clients soon :D

My Two Greatest Blessings In Life

Oh snap! I forgot to update this site! I was gonna do it the other day but then i got so busy and did a lot of things. So glad that i remembered it today and now i am here to post some recent photos of my two greatest and priceless blessings in life. These photos below were taken yesterday at our yard by the driveway. The little one was not too happy because he fell asleep and woke up not satisfied with his nap time.

I was not going to photo shoot him, just his big brother but he kept on following wherever we go. The big brother too wasn't so cooperative, he just don't like being taken pictures of anymore. Argh! So frustrating, i tried to trick him but it didn't work for him. Oh well, it was not too bad though, i still got some cute shots of him.
